APCOA Product & Engineering, which was founded in 2022, is APCOA's technology division and contributes to relieving the pressure on urban centers by developing and providing technology-based services with improved mobility flows.

To strengthen our team in Oslo, Norway, we are looking for a Backend Software Engineer.

What We Are Looking For

• Proficiency in Python 3, Django framework.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Ability to design and implement reusable, maintainable, and modular  components in large-scale applications.
• Understanding and experience with HTTP request agents, authentication
• Proficiency in managing complex application logic and functions with lots of input parameters.
• Experience with writing clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to industry standards.
• Understanding of relational databases, query optimization, and how to build ORM queries efficiently for the underlying database.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with frontend engineers, ensuring a  seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems.
• Experience in conducting and participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
• Adherence to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools, staying up to date with technological advancements.
• Innovative mindset for finding creative solutions to challenges.

Your Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about complex systems and applications.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git, and understanding of branching strategies, merges, and pull requests.
• We are open to both seasoned professionals and recent graduates who demonstrate exceptional potential and a passion for technology.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A collaborative attitude with a focus on contributing to team goals and the overall success of the project.
• For senior candidates: Proven track record of leadership and mentoring, with experience managing complex technical projects and teams.
