Part-Time HR Specialist (24 hours/week) – Amsterdam

About the Role
As a part-time HR Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our Amsterdam office. Reporting to the Senior People Business Partner in Germany, you will contribute to a wide range of People initiatives that align with our business goals and values.
From onboarding new talent to promoting diversity and inclusion, and ensuring compliance with Dutch employment law, you'll help shape an exceptional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
While you'll report to our People Business Partner in Germany, you’ll be the go-to person for all local People matters in Amsterdam. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for People-related queries on-site.
- Supporting the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies.
- Partnering with managers on employee relations, performance, and development.
- Leading onboarding and offboarding processes and contributing to employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate employee records using our HR system, Cezanne.
- Collaborating on diversity, inclusion, and well-being programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Analyzing People data and providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with a proactive mindset, a passion for people, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have:
- Fluency in English (C1 level or higher); Dutch language skills are a strong plus.
- 1–2 years of experience in an HR role (Coordinator, Assistant, or Generalist).
- Experience in a multinational environment preferred.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels – especially important in a sales-driven environment!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
