Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation for both web and desktop applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern automation tools and frameworks, a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, and the ability to contribute to both technical quality and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web and desktop applications.
  • Build and improve robust automation frameworks to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, validate new product functionalities, and define effective testing strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Develop and execute automated API tests and end-to-end test scenarios.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and fast feedback cycles.
  • Review the code of team members and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to quality engineering best practices and drive continuous improvement in automation processes.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Strong automation engineering skills with hands-on experience in JVM Playwright, Cucumber and REST Assured
  • Experience in web and desktop application automation.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins
  • Solid experience working in Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to design and test new product functionalities.
  • Ability to review peers’ code and provide constructive technical guidance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience mentoring team members and supporting knowledge exchange.
  • English level: B2 or higher.
