ROLE PURPOSE: 

 

As the SDR Manager EMEA, you will lead and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on generating high-quality inbound and outbound pipelines for our EMEA Sales team. You will be responsible for onboarding, coaching, mentoring, and driving the performance of the SDR team to ensure alignment with our go-to-market strategy in the EMEA region.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Team Leadership: Train, coach, and manage the SDR team to achieve and exceed quarterly quotas.
  • Performance Metrics: Identify and track key performance metrics, providing regular feedback and coaching through call reviews, role plays, and tactical training sessions.
  • Hiring and Onboarding: Recruit, hire, and onboard new high-performing SDRs as needed.
  • Process Development: Develop efficient workflow processes, personalised inbound follow-up sequences, and outbound targeting tactics to engage with prospect accounts.
  • Pipeline Generation: Focus on generating high-quality pipeline for the Sales team that will contribute to bookings.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Build targets for team members, forecast pipeline generation, analyse data, and review reports in Salesloft, Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. ·
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Revenue Operations to ensure effective communication and strategy alignment. ·
  • Career Growth: Create career growth opportunities that support the established promotion path for SDRs.
  • International Alignment: Work with our parent company to share learnings with international colleagues to spread lead generation success into new overseas territories in the local language.

 

KEY COMPENTENCIES:

 

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales or business development with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role, preferably within the software development, IT consulting, or tech sales.
  • Regional Knowledge: Good understanding of the EMEA market, including cultural nuances, business practices, and legal requirements.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing, mentoring, and growing a high-performing sales or SDR team.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve team performance.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages relevant to the EMEA region are a plus.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales engagement platforms, and other relevant tools to manage and track team activities.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
