Senior React Developer

We are looking for a React Developer for a 6-month contract with potential prolongation to lead a project focused on building a portal that simplifies the Medicaid application process. The platform will support multiple types of Medicaid applications, enabling both individual applicants and organizations (such as lawyers, nursing homes, etc.) to apply on behalf of others. By moving the process online, the system will significantly reduce government response times from 45 days to just 24 hours.

This role requires at least 4 hours of overlap with EST working hours (9 AM — 5 PM EST).

Due to the specific terms of the customer’s contract, we prefer candidates based outside of Ukraine. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to receiving applications from a broad range of locations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to understand use cases and business requirements, and deliver technical solutions

• Develop new features and maintain existing functionality

• Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance and reliability

• Provide time estimates and communicate progress with stakeholders

• Suggest process improvements and contribute to the technical growth of the team

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript

• Proven experience building complex frontend applications

• Solid understanding of modern development practices

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Upper-intermediate English level or higher
