👐 About the team
For an Enterprise Account Executive, this is an opportunity to join a high-performing team at a pivotal moment: enterprise sales is becoming an increasingly important growth engine for Alma, and there is significant scope to shape our approach across Europe. You will work with some of the region’s most recognized brands, lead complex, high-value sales cycles, engage with senior decision-makers, and help define how Alma creates measurable value for large merchants.

This position is a permanent role, based in Paris.

🧩 About you
- At least 3-5 years of B2B Enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of closing large, complex deals involving multi-stakeholder processes,
- At ease in high-stakes conversations: You are confident engaging with CEO, MD, CFO and senior decision-makers by demonstrating preparation, credibility, and a clear grasp of what moves their business,
- Curious: You always do your homework, you walk into every conversation knowing your prospect's business, their challenges, and what a win looks like for them, before you even think about presenting a solution.
- Open to mastering a complex space: Payments is a technical and complex industry, you do not need to arrive as an expert, but you bring the intellectual humility to learn fast, ask the right questions, and grow into a trusted advisor over time,
- Genuine drive: You do not wait for pipeline to land, you build it, shape it, and own it, through creative outreach, disciplined follow-through, and a relentless focus on creating opportunities where others see closed doors,
- Natural listener: You know that understanding comes before convincing, you ask questions that open up conversations, and you let prospects reveal what matters most to them before you respond,
- Built for the long game: Enterprise cycles are rarely linear, you stay methodical and constructive through the slow moments, and you know how to keep a deal alive and moving without forcing it,
- A background selling into retail or e-commerce verticals is a plus, but we welcome hunters from any industry,
