As of today, Alma works with 23000+ merchants across 10 different European countries, and the acquisition of new Mid-Market accounts in the international markets is one of our pivotal focuses. As an Account Executive Mid-Market for the Benelux market, you will not only support all merchants who express their wish to install Alma’s solutions and discover their own challenges but also play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and contribute directly to Alma’s sales success.

About the mission

As an Account Executive Mid-Market working for the Benelux market, your main responsibilities include:

  • Managing the entire sales cycle (for both Outbound & Inbound) of new Mid-Market accounts (turnovers between €10M-€250M) from prospecting, leads qualification to negotiation and contract signature
  • Engaging with C-Level Executives, acting as a trusted advisor to navigate their challenges and demonstrate the value of Alma’s solutions
  • Representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in Benelux and Europe
  • Contributing to the optimisation of internal processes to support Alma's scalability
  • Maximizing Alma’s take rate by ensuring activated merchants are fully optimized
  • Organizing and tracking all sales activities via our CRM

 

About you 

You will be a good fit for the role if you have/are:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in similar roles (excluding internships & apprenticeships), with a proven track record in B2B sales
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • An excellent communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of navigating the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with experience in negotiation and contract signing
  • Strong sales orientation with an energetic approach
  • Excellent analytical mindset
  • Self-driven, curious, and proactive
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Well organized with a structured approach
