Event Manager
We are looking for our Event Manager to lead strategic partnerships and execute successful marketing events that boost brand visibility and drive growth. This role will focus on building relationships, coordinating events, and delivering measurable results. The Event Manager will play a critical role in executing key events that align with Alma’s revenue and partnership strategies. In this role, you will oversee the roadmap, budget, planning, and execution of both external and internal events, along with co-marketing initiatives, ensuring each effort delivers business value while strengthening our partner ecosystem.
About the mission
Reporting to the Head of Revenue Marketing, your key responsibilities will include:

Event Ownership & Management: lead the organization and budgeting of both external events and Alma-owned events
- Coordinate Alma’s participation in key Sales events
- Oversee event logistics, promotion, and follow-up, ensuring smooth execution
- Work within budgets and timelines to deliver impactful, cost-effective events
- Track event performance and provide post-event analysis for continuous improvement.
- Organize exclusive events hosted by Alma to attract new leads or strengthen relationships with key companies

Partnerships events:
- Identify, manage, and organize partnerships events that align with business goals.
- Collaborate with partners on co-branding projects to increase reach, engagement and lead generation
- Develop and coordinate webinars or other digital events with partners, including top PSP and CMS providers.
- Content creation and coordination:
- Collaborate on content creation for co-marketing initiatives with partners, such as white papers, webinars, etc.
- Approve the content to be shared with partners and ensure it is properly handled by the appropriate internal stakeholders.

Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, partnerships, marketing) to align event and partnership activities with broader marketing goals.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of partnerships and events, providing actionable insights.
About you

- Detail-Oriented: You manage multiple priorities and keep track of all the moving parts with precision.
- Tech & Finance Industry Enthusiast: Knowledge or interest in the tech and finance industries is a plus.
Your Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience managing events, with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Experience working in an international and multicultural context is essential.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Experience in the tech and/or payment industries is a plus but not mandatory.
