As an Account Executive Mid-Market for the Benelux market, you will not only support all merchants who express their wish to install Alma’s solutions and discover their own challenges but also play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and contribute directly to Alma’s sales success.

About the mission
As an Account Executive Mid-Market working for the Benelux market, your main responsibilities include:
- Managing the entire sales cycle (for both Outbound & Inbound) of new Mid-Market accounts (turnovers between €10M-€250M) from prospecting, leads qualification to negotiation and contract signature
- Engaging with C-Level Executives, acting as a trusted advisor to navigate their challenges and demonstrate the value of Alma’s solutions.
- Representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in Benelux and Europe
- Contributing to the optimisation of internal processes to support Alma's scalability
- Maximizing Alma’s take rate by ensuring activated merchants are fully optimized
- Organizing and tracking all sales activities via our CRM
About you
You will be a good fit for the role if you have:
- You have 3-5 years of relevant experience in similar roles (excluding internships & apprenticeships), with a proven track record in B2B software sales.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English is mandatory
- You have excellent communication skills
- You have in-depth knowledge of navigating the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with experience in negotiation and contract signing
- You have a strong organizational and structured approach to understanding the complexities of retailers' needs, with a high level of accountability and a methodical approach to ensure consistent follow-ups with prospects until closing

- You have experience(s) in the Payment / BNPL / E-commerce industry
- You are proficient in using tools such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, or Modjo for efficient lead management and outreach
