Overview

Act as the execution and governance partner to the CTO, ensuring strategic priorities across engineering, data, and quant platforms convert into controlled, accountable, and on-time outcomes. This is a senior operating role combining workflow architecture, policy discipline, and delivery oversight across the full technology agenda.

Governance & Operating Frameworks

• Design, implement, and continuously improve technology policies and control standards
• Establish structured operating frameworks across SDLC, change management, release management, and documentation discipline
• Implement scalable workflows across engineering, infrastructure, data, and research environments
• Conduct periodic audits of adherence to policies, workflows, and operating standards

Execution & Delivery Oversight

• Translate strategic priorities into structured roadmaps, milestones, and accountable delivery plans
• Run weekly and monthly operating cadence, tracking risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
• Oversee cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, quant research, data, and infrastructure
• Identify and resolve execution bottlenecks with clear ownership and follow-through

Strategic & Institutional Support

• Maintain institutional-grade documentation, decision logs, and governance artefacts
• Support platform scalability, resilience, and operational risk discipline
• Assist with technical diligence for vendors, partners, and potential investors
• Contribute to planning for new products, infrastructure expansion, and regulatory readiness

Profile & Experience

• 7–12+ years in technology governance, CTO office, engineering operations, or program leadership
• Experience implementing structured governance frameworks (COBIT-style controls, SDLC standards, change management discipline or equivalent)
• Background in quantitative finance, trading systems, fintech, or data-intensive technical environments
• Highly structured, detail-oriented operator with strong collaboration skills and clear executive communication

What This Role Is / Is Not

• A force multiplier for the CTO, combining governance authority with execution discipline
• Strategic but hands-on, operating across technical and commercial domains
• Not a pure project management coordination role
• Not a software engineering position with day-to-day coding responsibility
