Role Overview

AlgoQuant is seeking a hands-on (Network) Security Engineer to strengthen and scale our security foundations as we transition from startup to mature enterprise. This role focuses on securing cloud-native and hybrid environments across AWS, corporate infrastructure, and datacenters. You will design and maintain Zero Trust-aligned architecture centered on identity, automation, and continuous monitoring. Close collaboration ensures security is embedded into culture, systems, and workflows. In addition, you will be involved in InfoSec governance in the form of security audits which allows you to influence the strategic InfoSec direction of our company. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure infrastructure across AWS, corporate networks, and hybrid/on-prem environments with strong segmentation and access control.
• Implement and operate Zero Trust Architecture using identity-driven controls, Entra ID, Intune, SSO/MFA, and SASE platforms such as Cato.
• Automate security monitoring, vulnerability management, compliance checks, and remediation across CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code pipelines.
• Lead risk assessments, incident response, audits, and continuous improvement of security baselines across systems, endpoints, and applications.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience across network, system, identity, and datacenter security in enterprise or high-scale hybrid environments.
• Deep practical knowledge of AWS security, Microsoft Entra ID/Intune, Zero Trust, SASE/ZTNA, SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and secrets/key management.
• Solid administration of Linux and Windows, including hardening, patching, monitoring, intrusion detection, and remediation, supported by scripting and automation.
• Ability to perform threat modeling, risk assessment, incident response, and compliance alignment (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) with clear communication across technical and business teams.
