As a Junior Recruiting Manager, you will play a key supporting role in growing this team by contributing to the full recruitment process — from posting job ads to helping onboard new hires. You’ll work closely with experienced team members, gain hands-on experience in modern recruitment practices, and continuously develop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • End-to-End Recruiting: Drive our hiring process from creation of meaningful job profiles to onboarding, including screening, interviewing and hiring great candidates.
  • Active Sourcing: Identify suitable recruiting channels and platforms on which you establish your effective sourcing techniques.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure an exceptional positive experience throughout the whole candidate journey and build a strong talent network.
  • ALAIKA Ambassador: Being the first point of contact for candidates, you will represent our ALAIKA values and culture throughout the entire recruitment process.
  • Organizational Support: Manage scheduling, maintain our Applicant Tracking System (ideally Greenhouse), and ensure all candidate data is up to date.
  • Employer Branding: Contribute to projects such as career events, university outreach, or social media initiatives.
  • Collaborate Closely: Work alongside the People team and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and support recruitment efforts.
  • University cooperation & partnerships: Establish and expand university relationships to build strong networks with young talents and high potentials.

Your Profile

  • Experience: You’ve gained experience in recruitment or HR (e.g., through internships, working student roles, or previous jobs).
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, business, HR or related field.
  • Motivated to Learn: You’re eager to build a career in recruiting and excited to learn from a passionate, experienced team.
  • Organized & Reliable: You bring strong organizational skills and take ownership of your tasks with a high attention to detail.
  • Growth Mindset: Hands-on spirit with a genuine curiosity and passion for understanding people and gaining deep insights. With an energetic and positive attitude, you embrace excellent listening skills and build strong relationships to match high potentials with the right opportunities.
  • Strong Communicator: You enjoy interacting with people and have a friendly, professional communication style.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, German/Spanish would be a plus.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with digital tools and open to learning ATS platforms like Greenhouse.
