What you will do:
- Lead Transformative Projects: Leverage your insurance/banking IT & operations expertise to guide clients through key initiatives. Collaborate with senior leaders, demonstrating deep functional knowledge, technological insights, and tools to drive efficient processes.
- Client Relationships & Engagements: Build strong, lasting relationships, ensuring top-tier service and satisfaction. Advise clients on technology trends and operational best practices within the insurance/banking domain.
- Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and coach team members to achieve their full potential, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Cross & Upselling: Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to expand ALAIKA's impact. Proactively understand client needs and propose tailored technology and operations solutions.
- Contribute to organizational development: Support internal initiatives, such as process improvements, tool implementations (e.g., SAP), and website enhancements.
- Own and Develop IP: Manage key intellectual property in strategic areas (e.g., cybersecurity, transformations, or insurance/banking), maintaining and evolving these assets to reflect market developments. Contribute to at least one external-facing initiative per quarter (e.g., articles, website upgrades).
- Support Sales and Marketing: Assist in creating compelling sales materials and proposals showcasing ALAIKA's expertise in insurance/banking IT & operations. Contribute to external communications and events to promote thought leadership.
Your Profile:
- Relevant Experience: 5+ years of full-time professional experience in the insurance/banking sector at a top-tier consultancy or technology strategy consulting firm. Demonstrated track record in large-scale transformation projects related to Insurance/banking IT & Operations.
- Education: Outstanding degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics) from a top-tier university—or an exceptional track record outside of university.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proactive, takes ownership, and prefers to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decisions and optimize Insurance/Banking IT & Operations processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners—effectively conveying technical and strategic insights.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages such as German are a plus.
