What you will do:

As a Consulting Manager, you will shape the strategic transformation of leading global companies, addressing pressing challenges within our key industry Financial Services as well as our key domains Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, and ESG/Climate Tech and;

  • Support Trusted Leadership in Insurance Operations or Technology: Play a key role in our Insurance practice, offering functional knowledge and tools. Support senior leaders in client situations, leveraging your expertise in Insurance IT & Operations.
  • Client Relationships & Engagements: Build and develop client relationships while ensuring work of the highest quality. Support senior leaders in client engagements, demonstrating expertise and reliability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire your team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Develop and coach team members, helping them to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
  • Cross & Upselling: Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling ALAIKA's services to existing clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • IP Development: Own key IP parts (e.g. SOC and IAM as part of the Cyber Practice) and maintain/develop them according to the latest client projects and market developments. Own at least one external-facing task per quarter (e.g. writing an article or managing a project like our website). Support organizational development, including relevant processes, tools, and setups (e.g. SAP implementation, website go-live).
  • Support Sales Material and Proposal Development: Assist in creating compelling sales materials and developing proposals. Support external communications and events to promote ALAIKA's expertise and capabilities.

 

Your Profile:

  • Relevant Experience: 5+ years of full-time professional experience in the insurance sector of a top-tier consultancy and within the DACH or EU corporate insurance domain. Experience in contributing to large-scale transformation projects in the domain of Insurance IT & Operations.
  • Education: Outstanding degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics) from a top-tier university or an outstanding track record outside of university.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; additional languages such as German are a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proactive, takes ownership, and prefers to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decision-making and optimize processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
