As a Junior Event Manager – Retail Trial & Brand Activation, you will be part of our Brand Activation team and support the planning, execution, and follow-up of events and activations where consumers can experience and try air up firsthand – especially at the point of sale and with our retail partners.
*** This role is located in Munich, Germany***
In this role, we follow a hybrid working model: time in the office each week to collaborate and connect with the team, balanced with remote days that support focused, independent work.
Your responsibilities
- Support the planning, organization, and execution of trial and sampling activations in a retail environment
- Assist in brand activation events, pop-ups, roadshows, and promotions
- Coordinate external partners such as promoters, agencies, and logistics providers
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, and Retail
- Ensure a consistent and on-brand appearance of air up across all events
- Support briefings, timelines, material planning, and budget tracking
- Help analyze and document events (e.g. KPIs, learnings, photo documentation and internal communication of results and achievements)
- Provide on-site operational support during events and activations
This is you
- Completed degree or vocational training in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a comparable field
- First hands-on experience in events, promotions, or brand activation (e.g. internships, working student roles)
- Strong passion for brands, experiences, and live communication
- Hands-on mentality with strong organizational skills and reliability
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and perform at your best in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work weekends when required by events
- Very good German and English skills, good French skills are an advantage
- Confident using MS Office or Google Workspace
- Valid driver’s license (Class B)
Nice to Have
- Experience in retail or FMCG environments
- Exposure to sampling, trial, or promotion activations
