Your responsibilities as a member of the Procurement Team:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across departments, including R&D, Finance, Legal, etc.
  • Ensure vendors/suppliers adhere to agreement terms. Enlist legal support when needed. Address issues promptly if terms are not followed. 
  • Streamline the contract finalisation process to overcome bottlenecks and ensure timely sign-off and implementation of contracts.
  •  Ensure the best value for the business through continuous improvement of contract terms and conditions, enriched with the development of KPIs & relevant SLA’s.
  • Take ownership of the entire contract lifecycle (initiation, execution, renewal and termination) by collaborating with procurement managers and suppliers to develop, finalise, and execute mutually beneficial contracts.
  • Resolve contractual disputes and ensure smooth supplier collaboration.
  • Support internal teams by interpreting contract clauses and resolving supplier-related issues.

That's you:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or another related field.
  • Over 6 years of relevant work experience in a similar position with a strong emphasis on contract management in a fast-paced environment, ideally within areas of FMCG, Capital equipment and or contract manufacturing.
  • Robust understanding of legal aspects of contracts and commercial regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead contractual negotiations and secure favourable terms.
  • Experience in project management and working with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, Procurement, Engineering and Supply Chain departments.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of improving processes and implementing best practices in contract management.
