The team and the role
The Corporate Engineering team is responsible for creating and running air up’s corporate infrastructure, IT Operations, SaaS/enterprise applications integration, networking, systems and device management with frequent interaction and some overlap with security engineering, compliance, governance and tech support.
We are passionate about autonomy, purpose, cloud infrastructure automation, SaaSOps, our colleague’s productivity and good engineering practices to build the right things right. If you do too, then you’re going to feel right at home.
As a Corporate Engineer, you are responsible for building and evolving our corporate IT infrastructure, as well as building tools and automations to enable our broader organization to move at speed.
Your responsibilities
- You collaborate closely with technical and non-technical colleagues alike from every part of the company to evolve our systems according to their and the company’s needs
- You create, build, test, deliver and support infrastructure, automation, and employees tooling
- You are a go-to person for corporate infrastructure topics
- You constantly learn and improve yourself and everything around you
- You lead infrastructure changes, evolve system design and foster good engineering practices
That’s you
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (or an intriguing reason for not
having one). - You have 3+ years of experience as a modern IT System Administrator / DevOps / infrastructure engineer
- You have 3+ years of relevant corporate/SaaSOps engineering experience
- You are comfortable working across tools and tech stacks (we use and support both macOS and Windows)
- You are passionate about infrastructure as code and engineering productivity
- You are strongly aligned with agile, lean and DevOps values and principles
- You can read and write code in one (or more) languages, especially those more relevant to the infrastructure space
- You are a mindful, transparent, and communicative team member
- You are highly proficient in spoken and written English and have good command of German.
