About the Role
You will be a trusted strategic advisor to some of the world's most recognizable brands, turning complex business goals into high-performance mobile and multi-channel engagement strategies. Working with a curated portfolio of Airship's most high-profile enterprise accounts across Europe, you will partner directly with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders to deliver measurable ROI, proving that Airship is not just a technology provider, but a growth partner. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where success is measured by the tangible business value you unlock for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead value discovery and KPI mapping: Conduct deep-dive sessions with executive stakeholders to identify core business problems and build Value Realization Frameworks that connect Airship solutions directly to measurable economic outcomes
- Architect multi-channel customer journeys: Design sophisticated engagement strategies across email, mobile, SMS, digital wallets and more for global enterprise brands
- Own the ROI narrative: Partner with Account Teams to lead executive business reviews that go beyond usage metrics to demonstrate clear financial impact and strategic return
- Drive retention and expansion: Identify pathways for service and feature growth by becoming an indispensable part of each customer's business strategy, contributing to high net retention rates
- Facilitate strategic workshops: Create and deliver expert-led sessions that help customers define their North Star metrics and accelerate digital marketing outcomes
- Build scalable frameworks: Develop standardized playbooks and AI-powered tools that elevate consulting quality across the global organization
- Mentor the EMEA team: Coach and guide regional consultants on managing complex enterprise engagements and delivering performance-led narratives
- Champion AI-driven efficiency: Use AI tools for research, content development, and performance auditing to deliver faster, higher-quality strategic guidance
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in a consulting, digital agency, or client-side marketing leadership role (e.g., CRM Director, CX Lead, Head of Lifecycle Marketing)
- Deep experience designing complex, multi-channel customer engagement strategies across three or more channels (email, mobile, SMS, web, digital wallets)
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior marketing executives in enterprise organizations
- Strong data-driven storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value
- Experience designing and facilitating strategic workshops for enterprise stakeholders
- Fluency in English required
- Experience experimenting with AI tools in your personal or professional life - or an eagerness to learn!
We'd Be Delighted If You Also Have
- Specific expertise in email marketing strategy, deliverability and measurement
- Experience with one or more Marketing Cloud platforms (Adobe, Oracle, Salesforce) or CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Proficiency in one or more additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish)
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to increase productivity in research, reporting and content creation
- Functional marketing expertise in one or more of Airship's industry verticals (airlines, retail, media, finance)
Work Location & Travel Requirements
Airship’s ‘Digital First’ approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Airship believes that flexible work contributes to a more productive and more equitable work environment, and that Airshippers are able to collaborate, innovate, and support one another across different locations and timezones.
Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.
This position is fully remote and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.
