Marketing & Communications Manager
About AI71:
ai71 builds enterprise-grade AI for the organisations that run the real economy: governments, banks and large enterprises across the Middle East & Africa. Our work is grounded in deep research and a commitment to deploying AI securely, responsibly and at scale.
“Ask” is our agentic AI platform. It puts AI agents to work on an organisation’s own knowledge, systems and workflows: agents that reason through complexity, draw on the organisation’s collective knowledge, and complete real work rather than just answer questions. Ask is built to be infrastructure and model-agnostic, so it runs inside a customer’s existing stack and security perimeter instead of forcing them onto ours. Today it is deployed across knowledge-heavy functions like legal, finance, HR and procurement, in some of the most regulated environments in the world.
The Role:
Ask is growing and its marketing is still largely to be built. There is no calendar, no asset library and no settled way of doing things, and this role exists to create them.
You will set and execute the marketing and communications plan: the material our sales team relies on, the demos that show what Ask actually does, the events we appear at, and the marketing we run with partners. We sell to governments, banks and large enterprises, where people tend to see us before they meet us, so the standard of what you produce matters.
What You'll Do:
You will:
Marketing & communication strategy
- Own the marketing and communications plan for Ask: the audiences, the channels, the calendar and where the budget goes.
- Plan and run campaigns end to end, including launch moments and the creative behind them.
- Own external communications: announcements, launches and partnership news, executive visibility material and press presence at events.
- Report on what is working, and move budget and effort accordingly.
Content development
- Produce sales and marketing collateral, product documents and case material, from brief through to finished asset.
- Make demo videos and product walkthroughs that work for a technical evaluator and an executive sponsor alike, and that hold up live at an event.
- Build the templates and asset library that make each launch faster than the last, and (when needed) manage agencies and freelancers.
Events and outreach
- Run our events programme: which events we show up to, in what form, and what we intend to get out of each one.
- Deliver our events presence, from concept and stand design through vendors, build, run of show and on-site delivery.
Partner marketing
- Build joint marketing with our partners: co-branded campaigns, joint content and shared event presence.
- Produce partner enablement material so that partner teams can represent Ask accurately and confidently.
- Identify and draw down partner co-marketing funds, and put them to work against our own plan.
What You'll Bring:
You bring 5+ years in B2B marketing, brand or creative production, ideally in this region and ideally somewhere you have both set the plan and made the work. You are fluent in Figma, video editing and motion tools, and have experience marketing technical or enterprise products. Experience marketing to government or regulated enterprise buyers is a strong advantage, as is co-marketing with channel or technology partners, and professional-level Arabic.
Beyond experience, here are the qualities we are looking for:
Ownership: ambiguity does not slow you down. You define the work, you commit to it, and you carry it through to a finish that stands up.
Craft: you can put our material next to the largest technology companies in the world and have it hold its own. You know when something is good and when it is only finished, and you can account for the difference.
Communication: you can take something as involved as an agentic AI platform and make it legible to an executive. The same clarity shows up in how you brief an agency and how you keep the people around you in the picture.
Organized: you manage a wide set of relationships and a lot of parallel work, without losing thread on any of it. You plan around dates that will not move, and you raise problems early.
We know many strong candidates won’t tick every box above. If your experience looks a little different but you believe you can bring value to this role, we would like to hear from you.
