The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Engineer to architect, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications that integrate mesh data and spatial geometry. This role involves working closely with 3D models to integrate with AI applications delivering performance and reliability.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable fullstack applications with modern frameworks and cloud services.
• Work with language models to reason over 3d models
• Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js.
• Implement and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Python (FastAPI, Flask), or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate intelligent features and services into the product stack.
• Optimize performance, security, and maintainability across frontend and backend components.
• Lead code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and contribute to the overall technical architecture.
• Ensure CI/CD processes, automated testing, and deployment pipelines are in place and continuously improved.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and best practices in software engineering and AI application development.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in fullstack development, with proficiency in backend development
• Strong Python skills — this is the primary language for our geometry and compute layer                                                                                                                     
• Hands-on experience working with 3D mesh data: loading, processing, transforming, and querying geometry (vertices, faces, normals, spatial indices)                                                        
• Familiarity with at least one geometry/mesh library — trimesh, Open3D, PyMesh, pythonOCC, CGAL, or similar                                                                                                 
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and authentication (OAuth 2.0, JWT)                                                                                                                       
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)                                                                                                                                
• Comfort with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)                                                                                                                
• Strong software design fundamentals — clean architecture, testing, async patterns, DevOps practices      
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Great Pluses / Preferred Experience 

• Experience with IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) — parsing, traversal, property extraction via IfcOpenShell
• Exposure to BIM workflows or AEC tooling — understanding how models move between authoring tools, coordination platforms, and downstream consumers                                                         
• Experience with topological operations or computational geometry algorithms (boolean ops, convex hulls, CSG, spatial decomposition)                                                                        
• Familiarity with 3D web rendering — Three.js, Babylon.js                                                                                                                                
• Experience with scheduling or cost data (P6 Primavera, Procore, or similar) as structured data problems
• Experience with server-side rendering, static site generation, and microservices architecture.
