[TEMPLATE] Customer Coordinator - Advo Health
Full time | 37.5 hours per week
Salary £24,851.23 per annum
A positive assessment experience starts before the assessment begins.
At Advo Health, part of the Cortera Health Group, we support people at important moments in their lives. We deliver health assessment services with fairness, compassion and respect at their heart.
As a Customer Coordinator, you will play an important part in creating a positive experience for people attending our assessment centres. From welcoming someone when they arrive to helping appointments run smoothly behind the scenes, you will be there to make the process feel organised, professional and supportive.
If you enjoy helping people, building relationships and making sure everything runs as it should, this could be a rewarding next step for you.
The role
You will be one of the first points of contact for people attending health assessments, helping them feel welcomed, informed and supported throughout their visit.
Alongside providing a great customer experience, you will help coordinate the day to day running of the assessment centre. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals and wider operational teams to keep appointments running smoothly, maintain accurate records and make sure any individual requirements are understood.
The people you meet will have different health conditions, disabilities and personal circumstances. Some may feel nervous or uncertain about their assessment, so your ability to communicate with empathy, patience and professionalism will be an important part of the role.
It is a varied position that brings together customer service, organisation and administration, with the opportunity to make a difference to someone's experience every day.
What you will be doing
• Welcoming people attending the assessment centre and creating a positive first impression
• Making courtesy calls ahead of appointments and providing clear information about what to expect
• Supporting people with administrative tasks, including completing expense forms where required
• Keeping appointment and customer records accurate and up to date using our internal systems
• Rescheduling appointments when required and communicating changes clearly
• Making healthcare professionals and managers aware of any additional requirements ahead of an assessment
• Preparing assessment rooms and equipment so everything is ready for the day
• Supporting the smooth day to day running of the assessment centre
• Responding appropriately to queries and escalating accidents, incidents or concerns when necessary
• Building positive working relationships with customers, healthcare professionals and colleagues across Advo Health
• Providing general administrative support and, where required, occasional cover at other assessment centres
Who we are looking for
You do not need experience within health assessments to join us. We are looking for someone who combines strong customer service skills with organisation, attention to detail and a genuine desire to help people.
You will ideally bring:
• Experience in a customer service, reception or administrative role
• A confident, caring and professional communication style, whether face to face, over the telephone or in writing
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft 365
• The ability to manage different priorities and keep calm when circumstances change
• A proactive approach to solving problems and using your own initiative
• The ability to work independently while also being a supportive member of the wider team
• Confidence communicating with people who may have different needs or be experiencing challenging circumstances
Experience within healthcare, government services or a similar environment would be useful, but it is not essential.
Working at Advo Health
You will be joining a people focused organisation where the experience we create matters.
Although you will have your own responsibilities within the assessment centre, you will work alongside healthcare professionals, operational colleagues and managers who all contribute to making the assessment journey run effectively.
We want you to feel confident in your role, so you will receive the training and support you need to understand our systems, processes and the service we provide.
As part of the wider Ascenti Group, you will also be joining an organisation focused on helping people live fuller lives.
Salary and benefits
• £24,851.23 per annum
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Annual salary reviews
• Training and ongoing support
• Free physiotherapy and wellbeing services
• Employee discounts and rewards
• Charity time gifting
• Opportunities to develop your skills and career within Advo Health and the wider Ascenti Group
