This is a build, shape, and lead role.

We’re looking for a Product Design Team Lead who lives at the intersection of product thinking, design leadership, and AI. Someone who is excited not only about designing AI-powered products, but also about using AI to rethink how design teams work, move, and create.

You’ll be leading a growing design team, shaping new processes, and working in an environment where AI is deeply embedded across product, design, and development.

Your role: leading AI-powered, human-centered design

• Lead and mentor a team of Product Designers, setting a high bar for craft, thinking, and execution
  
  
• Own and evolve design processes in a fast-moving, AI-driven environment
  
  
• Drive the design of AI-powered features and end-to-end product experiences
  
  
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data/ML teams to translate complex AI capabilities into simple, intuitive experiences
  
  
• Integrate AI tools into the team’s daily workflow – from ideation and research to execution and optimization
  
  
• Shape how design and development collaborate in AI-based environments, including working alongside teams using modern coding paradigms (e.g. vibe coding)
  
  
• Partner with Brand and Motion teams to elevate the quality, consistency, and emotional impact of the product
  
  
• Use data and behavioral insights (e.g. Mixpanel, FullStory) to inform decisions and continuously improve UX
  
  
• Build and evolve a scalable design system that supports both speed and quality
  
  
• Lead design culture initiatives – critiques, workshops, and explorations that push the team forward
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design in a high-tech or startup environment
  
  
• 2+ years of experience leading and managing product designers – must
  
  
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking and high-quality execution
  
  
• Hands-on experience designing AI-powered features (chat interfaces, copilots, automation flows, personalization, etc.)
  
  
• Daily use of AI tools in your workflow (for ideation, design, content, research, or automation)
  
  
• High proficiency in Figma (bonus: plugins, APIs, internal tools)
  
  
• Strong UX and systems thinking – ability to simplify complex systems into clear user experiences
  
  
• Builder mindset – curiosity, speed, and a constant drive to explore new tools and ways of working
  
  

Bonus:

• Experience building internal tools, automations, or design workflows
  
  
• Experience working closely with engineering in modern AI-based development environments
