Accountant
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Senior/ Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting essential financial processes.
After an initial training period, you will take on responsibilities independently, ensuring smooth budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will maintain accurate bookkeeping records, manage intercompany reconciliation, and ensure compliance with tax filing requirements.
Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of year-end statutory statements, support the quarterly and year-end audit process, and reconcile expense claims and accounting records.

Skills and experience required
To be successful in this role you will have a degree in Accounting/ Finance or other related professional qualifications with prior experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally with experience from a Big 4 firm or within the biotechnology sector. You must have a keen eye for detail and strong accuracy in financial record management. Strong organisation skills are essential, as you will be managing multiple priorities in a dynamic financial environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required, and experience with Netsuite ERP system is highly beneficial. You should be adaptable and possess strong problem-solving skills, as well as a willingness to learn and collaborate within a team. Proven exposure to international, fast-paced environments is desirable. Experience with biotech accounting, R&D tax credit administration, and US GAAP reconciliation is preferred.
