Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)

At Ruby, your personality really matters, your time really matters, and we strongly believe we groove way better together. At Ruby, we keep breaking new ground.
Hey Sunshine,
You're a pro when it comes to planning and behind-the-scenes magic? You believe that your work should be a place with personality and soul, where new ideas come to life? Then you are the missing olive to our Martini, the missing melody in our music and the heartbeat of our North American Rubyverse.
After successfully shaking up the hospitality industry across Europe with our Lean Luxury philosophy, we’re now bringing the Ruby spirit to North America. Stylish hotels with soul. Smart design without the unnecessary stuff. Spaces with character, stories, and atmosphere. And because we keep breaking new ground, we’re looking for someone who knows how to turn vision into reality.
Join us and make it your own story.
Trust us, you won't get bored, as you:
- act as the operator’s representative across our North American hotel projects
- ensure Ruby’s brand, technical, design, and operational standards come to life on site
- coordinate developers, architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers
- manage FF&E execution from tendering and vendor selection through installation and handover
- review layouts, drawings, specifications, and MEP coordination with a strong eye for detail and guest experience
- identify project risks early and help solve issues before they become problems
- support construction progress, quality assurance, snagging, commissioning, and operational readiness
- help shape and adapt Ruby’s brand standards for the North American market
We've been waiting for you, since you have/are:
- 7+ years of experience in hospitality, construction, architecture, FF&E, or technical project management
- experience working on the operator, brand, or owner representative side of hotel projects
- a strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, FF&E integration, and technical coordination
- the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and priorities without losing your cool
- a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- an eye for detail while still keeping the bigger picture in mind
- confidence working in fast-paced and international environments
- willingness to travel across North America
- fluent English skills — additional languages like Spanish are a plus
What's in for you? That's how we groove:
Besides exciting projects, great people, and the chance to shape Ruby’s North American story from the ground up, we also offer a compensation package designed to support you both professionally and personally.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $130.000 – $150.000 USD annually, depending on experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
On top of that, you can look forward to comprehensive health benefits, retirement options, paid time off, bonus eligibility, and a few Ruby extras that make work feel a little less… worky.
