So, what’s the role all about?
This is a rare opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, innovative team bringing digital transformation in an area new to cloud services. The primary focus is integrating and configuring state-of-the-art cloud-deployed solutions for digital evidence management for Public Safety & Justice customers in North America, taking our customers on a journey that transforms the handling of digital evidence at all stages of the justice system.
How will you make an impact?
- Based on a customer’s technical and operational requirements and data sources, creating a design that maps the customer’s data into our enterprise cloud solution (Azure), including correlation, filtering, access control, performance, and user preferences.
- Configuring, testing, and verifying your design with closely-coupled integration to your customers’ criminal justice information. Working closely with the project management and value realization teams to lead the customer through a digital transformation of their organization.
- Work effectively with staff in all areas of the business, escalating when appropriate to management and/or other stakeholders. Consider technical and commercial relationships with end-users, partners and service providers.
Have you got what it takes?
- Experience in configuring and testing web-based software provided as a service
- Experience with scripting in Linqpad, Powershell or similar
- Experience with basic querying of databases (Microsoft SQL) and Elastic Search
- Experience in data migration and/or transformation
- Knowledge of Entra ID single-sign-on, Windows and Azure server and client technology
- Knowledge of network principles (IP addressing, firewall rules, network security groups etc)
- Efficient, effective and respectful communication skills both with customers and within internal departments. Including;
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Good listener, able to identify and validate assumptions
- Able to use effective questioning to confirm understanding of a customer problem or request and then provide help to solve it
- Capable of technical conversations with IT, and able to explain the outcome and impact to non-IT people.
- Methodical troubleshooting, technical skill and attention to detail used in diagnosing problems and reproducing issues in a local environment
- Time-management to prioritize and switch between varied tasks
- Focused and calm under pressure and with customers
- Careful record keeping
- Able to use initiative and to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Be able to obtain security clearances (CJIS), US citizen or permanent resident.
- Bachelors degree or Masters Degree is preferred
